At right is an image by Kalju Kotka. It is a photograph prepared with the Van Dyke Brown process and is a contact print. The image was captured with an 8 x 10 inch view camera. Kalju is featuring five images in this exhibit and plans to have his view camera on display at the artists' receptions. Stop by and talk with Kalju about how he exposed this print by using only sunlight.
At left is an oil painting by Martin Stevers entitled Christmas Apples. Martin is a local graphic designer who is devoting some attention to fine art. Art school training is evident throughout his work in terms of not only design and layout, but also subject matter and fine tuning the details. Martin has chosen a realistic style for this piece and has attained very good results. He is exhibiting five pieces that are must see items when you visit the gallery.
